![]() There is another bar with a magician and nooks and crannies full of artifacts and eating areas. We all took a turn touring the different levels and areas hoping we would locate the password for future visits. Agent JJ also gave us our Recon Duty with instructions on what to look around for. ![]() Others in our party tried the Spy's Demise and the Great Spytini. I had the delicious Vesper Lynd which is a Gin martini, similar to a French martini. Agent JJ made excellent drinks for us and although they were $14 - $15 they came with complimentary glasses. The serving was enough for all four of us. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and did not plan on eating, but we did try the cheese curds which were very good. ![]() ![]() Once we were proven to be okay we were allowed to enter. We didn't know the password and had to do a “mission” to prove we were not enemy spies. Once we were in the reception room we were asked to provide the password. Someone coming out said that it was the entrance we were looking for. Just as we were about to give up we looked up an alley and saw a peculiar looking door. We even asked a city worker if he knew where it was. We walked around the area looking for the entrance for a while. It will now move to being one of my favorite stops in Milwaukee. The Safe House has been on my bucket list for many years. All in all, this was a fun place to go and I believe I have figured out the password for the next time. Luckily we knew ahead of time about this from a tripadvisor review because no one told us about it at the restaurant. At the end we paid a dollar to leave by the hidden exit which was fun. They give you drinks in different glasses than what you'd expect in keeping with the theme that spies must not be predictable. My husband had 'make your own burger' which he enjoyed with beer. For an entrée I actually had the sliders which were really good along with the Sleeper specialty drink and a blue drink that I can't remember its name. we had the fried cheese curds with their special sauce to share. Peek under the heart of Burt Reynolds ladies! As far as the eats. Also check out the bathrooms as they have fun little surprises. If you cannot find all the items on your list, the servers will help you. Many interesting items on the walls with this eccentric spy decor. You are given a mission sheet where you get up and walk around the rooms, it is larger than you'd first think, to find the magician, the cards on the ceiling, the shark, etc. Luckily there is plenty to do to keep you occupied. Our server was friendly but a bit overworked it seemed as he was rushing around and we had to wait sort of long for drinks and food. Ours was pretty boring but we did get the typical name tags to think up our agent names. Now we didn't get a neat table like some that are available. That's such fun to see what people have to do to get inside, whether it is acting like zombies or move/statue/freeze game. Then a hidden door opens and you enter into the bar area to see that monitors are on so that those inside can watch the performances. If you don't know the password to enter the door lady has you do something to prove you are worthy of entering - she was kind to us, we just had to ballroom dance a bit.
